Twitter To Offer Book Publishing Feature
Introducing 'Articles' by Elon Musk's Twitter - Write novels & more! Rich formatting, media uploads, & unlimited creativity.on Jul 20, 2023
In order to provide more diversified content alternatives, Elon Musk's Twitter is developing a new feature called "Articles." Users will be able to write extensive and sophisticated pieces, even novels, on the microblogging site thanks to this capability. Previously known as "Notes," the in-development tool was first made available to users in Canada, Ghana, the United Kingdom, and the United States in June of last year. It allowed for rich formatting as well as media uploads like as images, videos, GIFs, and tweets.
In response to a user's tweet on the redesigned "Articles" feature, Musk revealed that it will allow users to share complicated and media-rich articles, as well as publish whole books.
"Users will be able to post extremely long, complex articles with mixed media." If you want, you could write a book." Musk stated in a tweet.
While the exact date for its public debut is unknown, this move comes as Twitter strives to retain creators in the face of increased competition from platforms like as Instagram Threads. Twitter has been actively paying content creators a part of ad revenue, resulting in some remarkable rewards, with estimates exceeding five figures.
